The Toray grade, high modulus graphite blank, wrapped with our low-drag guide system, out-performed every castability test we've ever done. Based on our supremely versatile Wrench, the SAABRE excels in finesse tactics like ned, neko, hoover, dropshot rigs, and of course the senko. To keep the custom theme, our designers utilized super-grade cork and counterbalance rear grip for precise balance when coupled with a 2500 sized reel. We even cut the threads off the back of the seat to save weight. The LiteSAABRE may not be for everyone, but those who seek the best performing spinning rod the Alpha's could produce better grab one before their gone. LIMITED EDITION
Design Philosophy: Cause we can!! The new Alpha LiteSAABRE Supreme Spinning rod was created to out-perform the highest class of bassin' rods, but cost 1/2 the price. It's ultimately the culmination of improved guide designs, USA made Toray High modulus blanks, and thousands of prototype cycles. Alpha's design staff has engineered performance fishing rods for over a decade, and the SAABRE's supreme performance in every category is no accident. Trust us, it's worth a few casts!!!
Blank: Based on our extremely popular Wrench, the LiteSAABRE blank incorporates another level of HM Toray graphite (USA Made.) Medium powered, fast action taper will aid in fish landing and hook penetration while evenly loading during the cast. Simply put, the SAABRE's blank is like a refined sports car... supreme performance.
Components: Based on the Wrench, the SAABRE boats a similar layout with the hook keeper behind the reel seat. The open-ended design of the keeper secures the hook with exposing the point from your plastics. The Saabre utilizes a Fuji reel seat that has the rear threads cut down to reduce weight and is coupled with super grade cork. The hybrid, SS316, low drag guide system excels in cast efficiency and distance. The designers cherry-picked every component for the SAABRE design, and it shows in supreme performance.
