ShAAkr - 6'7" Medium XFast Skipping and Scoping Rod

The 6'7" Medium XFast Alpha Angler ShAAkr represents our relentless effort to evolve with this constantly changing sport.  The shortest model Alpha has ever produced, the ShAAkr is designed to "shake" or "twitch" a bait vertically, without excessively moving the bait horizontally.  Reducing the overall length of the rod allows for more precise bait movement, and our low-drag guide system provides for practice casting and skipping.  Built on the same Xtreme-High Modulus Toray Graphite as the LiteSAAbre, the ShAAkr is the lightest, most sensitive product we've ever built.  

Design Philosophy:  It's no secret that the design requirements for the ShAAkr originated from baits and presentations associated with forward imaging technology... but we know better than to pigeon hole any of our designs with a specific technique!!  Skipping senkos into tight quarters is effortless with this stick.  The high modulus Toray graphite provides the sensitivity necessary for finesse tactics and highly pressured fish.  The ShAAkr may be the shortest rod we've designed, but it's fishing versatility won't be.

Blank:  Like our beloved LiteSAAbre, the new ShAAKr blank incorporates the same amazing HM Toray graphite (USA Made.)  The medium powered, extra fast action taper will aid in fish landing and hook penetration while evenly loading during the cast.  The 6'7" length was ultimately selected to allow for precise bait movement, and for pin-point casting.  The end result is an extremely light and sensitive bass catcher.  

Components:  Based on the DSR design, the ShAAkr boasts a similar layout with the hook keeper behind the reel seat.  The open-ended design of the keeper secures the hook with exposing the point from your plastics.  The ShAAkr utilizes an AmTac reel seat with a taper EVA handle for blank control.   The hybrid, SS316, low drag guide system excels in cast efficiency and distance.  The designers cherry-picked every component for the ShAAkr design, and it shows in it's extreme performance. 

No Questions Asked - Breakage

NOTE:  EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1st 2025, our warranty policy is changing due to increased component and and labor charges associated with the rod industry.  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, as our policy has been updated.  No Questions Warranty policy will cost 50% of full retail price for replacement, valid for 2 years, for the original purchaser.  

Rods that cannot be repaired (blank breakage), will be replaced, one time, for a fee of 50% of full retail price.  

For this service, we don't care how the rod broke, as we know how hard bass fishing can be on equipment, hence "No Questions Asked."  This service is available (1) time for the original purchaser on each purchased rod, for a period of (2) years after purchase.  

Custom built rods are not covered under the No Questions Asked Policy.  Broken rods will be replaced with their equivalent production model.  Custom built rods will replaced one time, for a fee of 50% of full retail price, of the equivalent rod model.  This service is available (1) time for a the original purchaser on custom rods.
