G-ShAAKe Description
Glass-tipped shaking rods provide the most effective "subtle presentation" you can't get without the technology. Based on Alpha's extremely successful ShAAkr model, the G-ShAAke combines castability, balance and fish landing performance, with the added glass tip component.

Design Philosophy – Japanese dominance in the finesse minnow world naturally drew our attention. Alpha doesn’t settle for good enough, so the research started. The jighead minnow is exceptionally effective in generating bites, which explains why it’s the fastest growing technique in bass fishing. Like every other technique, fish wise-up and get tougher to catch with the added pressure.
The G-ShAAke is the next level because it allows a much subtler (natural) presentation that converts “skeptical” fish into biting. The G-ShAAkr tip dampens the shaking action by absorbing tip movement. Shake as violently as you want, and your minnow rolls with a natural appearance. The rod does the work.
Once the fish bites, the X-Fast taper transitions into a composite graphite backbone, which easily handles the biggest fish, while protecting light line. Castability was over-engineered in the ShAAkr project, which we implemented into the G-ShAAke. It’s easy to cast 110 feet with a 1/8oz minnow and 10lb braid on the G-ShAAke.
