The TopHammer is the ultimate topwater rod.  Designed by the Alpha Anglers, this 7' medium fast stick is designed to win the topwater battle. Allowing for braid mainlines, the guides are sized larger to allow leader knots to flow seamlessly.  For the first time in Alpha angler history, we've employed a full, 9", EVA grip to allow for bait launching all shapes and sizes of topwater baits.  Since it's original design, our pro-staffers have utilized the TopHammer for any situation where a high-modulus, 7' medium fits the application.  From senkos, t-rigs to light spinnerbaits and poppers, this rod is guaranteed to be on your boat deck on every trip.  We're just sure that it'll have a topwater if there's a chance it'll get bit.  

Topwater Rod Blank:  The TopHammer topwater bait rods are built on the medium powered, fast action blank.  Engineered to be nimble in hand, the 7' length is perfect for manipulating your baits without wasted energy or fatigue. The middle grade graphite provides ample sensitivity for the multiple tasks at hand, but more importantly it’s forgiving nature and parabolic bend will up your landing percentage. 

Components:  Designed to be used all day, the TopHammer employs a Fuji ECSM graphite reel seat for ultimate control.  The guide train is composed of ALPS SS316 stainless, semi-micro guides, which reduce mass on the business end of the rod.  Less mass creates a light and responsive tip section perfect for walking and popping your favorite tournament floating baits.  Finally, the full EVA grip section allows for excellent control during the cast, while being the perfect length to walk and twitch all day.

No Questions Asked - Breakage

NOTE:  EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1st 2025, our warranty policy is changing due to increased component and and labor charges associated with the rod industry.  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, as our policy has been updated.  No Questions Warranty policy will cost 50% of full retail price for replacement, valid for 2 years, for the original purchaser.  

Rods that cannot be repaired (blank breakage), will be replaced, one time, for a fee of 50% of full retail price.  

For this service, we don't care how the rod broke, as we know how hard bass fishing can be on equipment, hence "No Questions Asked."  This service is available (1) time for the original purchaser on each purchased rod, for a period of (2) years after purchase.  

Custom built rods are not covered under the No Questions Asked Policy.  Broken rods will be replaced with their equivalent production model.  Custom built rods will replaced one time, for a fee of 50% of full retail price, of the equivalent rod model.  This service is available (1) time for a the original purchaser on custom rods.
