      What is a spinning rod?

      Spinning Rod handle on a bass rodSpinning rods require larger guides as the line comes off of the spool. Spinning rods don't require as many guides as a casting reel, as the line on a spinning reel is pulling "below" the rod when you are fishing.

      What is a casting rod?

      casting rod is equipped with a reel seat that positions a spincast or baitcast reel above the rod and all the rod guides face upward. When fighting a fish on a casting rod the rod bends over with the guides facing up so the force of the fish pushes the line down on the eyelets and the rod blank.

      What is difference between casting and spinning fishing rods?

      The way the casting is setup is by pushing downward on the rod eyelets, forcing them into the casting rod. ... The main difference between the reels is that the spinning reel makes friction which leads to easier snapping of the line while the casting reel lets the line run smoothly.

      How much is shipping?

      Shipping on rods starts at $21.99.   Shipping on all Alpha Gear is $9.99

      Do you ship outside the USA?

      Shipping to the USA only. We cannot ship to PO boxes, as the rods simply won't fit!!! Please specify a residential or business address to ship to.

      When will be product be shipped?

      Usually within 2-3 business days. 

      Not common but some items may take longer to ship.

      Tracking numbers

      Your Tracking number will be sent to you via email you purchased with. From there you can track your package.

      Why hasn't my rod shipped?

      If your item was in stocked and hasn't shipped after 5 business days. Please contact us alphaanglercustoms@gmail.com

      Warranty

      Alpha Angler 3 Year Warranty

      All "Production Rods" are covered under a limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 3 years for the original owner.

      For damage caused in manufacturing of the rod or from defects in components, Alpha Angler will, at the companies discretion repair or replace the product at no charge. Shipping to the Alpha Angler is not covered, but return shipping will be.

      For damages occurring due to neglect, accident or normal wear and tear, at the discretion of Alpha Angler, be repaired or replaced. Rods that can be repaired will be charged a fee, to be determined after examination of the rod.

      Rods that cannot be repaired (blank breakage), will be replaced for a fee of $100, plus shipping. All broken rods must be reviewed by our customer services team.  Please send an email with breakage pictures to AlphaAnglerCustoms@gmail.com.

      Refunds & Returns

      3 Day exchange/Refund Policy

      We accept returns for exchange or refund 3 calendar days after delivery of the product. If for any reason your new Alpha Angler rod does not meet you expectations please contact us within 3 days of delivery for a full refund.  Alpha Angler will also cover return shipping in this scenario.

      Return Condition

      For your Alpha Angler rod to be eligible for the Money Back Refund, it must be in new, unused condition, showing no signs of wear

      Returns after 3 days

      Rods returned after the 3 calendar days will require an RA and subject to a 15% restocking fee.  Please contact customer support for any rod return.

      MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

      At Alpha, we want you to be totally happy with your rod purchase.  If you are unhappy in any way, please contact customer service.  alphaanglercustoms@gmail.com.

      Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it.

      Restocking Fee

      There is no restocking fee for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged if returned within 3 days.  Again you MUST contact us within 3 days if you intend to return ANY item back to our store. Items returned to us AFTER 3 days and WITHOUT contacting us will NOT be refunded.
